Tis the time for our Chirstmas party and we had the usual delicious food and snacks.

Although Holiday Farm is a commercial premises which offers a taste of farm life for city people, it does provide a fun place to visit. Activities included feeding the animals (cow, goat, pigeons, rabbits); milking the cow; making soya milk; making flour figures; making scarecrow; ploughing/watering the fields plus many others.

Everyboby, including the Leaders, who visited the farm had fun. You can tell by the number of photos the Leaders took, infact, we took almost 10 rolls of film!

Our Group celebrated our 54th Anniversary by attending the mass on the 3 September 2000 at the Catherdral. We had a small party after the mass. Fr Chan (the parish priest) and Fr Ngai (our Spiritual Director) also attended our party.

Our packs, totalled to 80 Cubs and Leaders, held their summer camp at Tung Tsz Scout Centre at the end of July. The camp was fun packed with camp light on the first night. In addition to the usual songs and games, each six modified a TV commercial (in a funny way) and perform it to others.

On the second day, the cubs enjoyed the facilities at the Centre, which included the swimming pool, obstacles path, silk screen printing and water canon.

Our packs participated at the Bishop Shield Competition organised by the Catholic Scout Guild, which comprised various games as well as a singing competition. We were very lucky to come First in the competition against many strong competitors.

Pack A and Pack B attended the Athlete Badge Examination organized by Victoria City District Council at Wong Chuk Hang Sports Ground. We also won the bronze medal at 4 x 100m relay.

Our Group visited the Fire Station at Central on 29 and 30 January 2000. Since there were over 100 of us, the visit had to be broken up into two sessions. The Fire Officers at the station demonstrated how to operate the fire fighting equipment to our Cubs and Scouts who were totally amazed.
