The Cub section went to their annual camp on Lantau Island this summer. The camp lasts for 3 days/2 nights. The camp was fun packed with activities such as obstacle course, archery, building sand castles, model making, backswood cooking (bread on a stick), games and singsong. The weather was also extremely nice to them too, as soon as they came out the camp from sunny Lantau Island, a typhoon signal No. 1 was hoisted.

The packs organised a spring hike (original scheduled in March but was postponed due to bad weather). They visited the Tai Lam Nature Trail on Mothers' Day (to gave their mother a break?!)
 

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Victoria City District, a camporee was organised at Fung Kai, Sheung Shui between 13 and 16 April 2001.
20 Scouts and 14 Cubs (Sixers and Seconds) attended the camporee.

It was the first time for the Cubs to go camping and they were all very excited. Activities included physical fitness, games, camp fire, trying out the pioneering done by the Scouts and Ventures.
