"JUDGES' COMMENTS FROM "SCOUTING THE WEB AWARD": Interesting Splash Page. I like that it shows the youth in action from the start. Nice large group photo. I like seeing the ages from 7 and up. I would like to take a photo of our Pack, Troop, and Crew. Lost of Photos, that is great. The photos would make a young lad or lass want to join their unit and even look for a unit in their area. There is a way to get ahold of the leaders. That is great! This unit has a proud history! I don't like the download section. It is *.doc. If it was in *.pdf then I think I might be willing to look at silver. I like the virual badge area! Wow! I really like this site. It is interesting, it is informative, it is well designed. It has a lot of history, pictures and stories back to the would be better if they kept the menu frame on all pages, rather than redrawing the whole screen. A couple of mistakes (one link didn't get updated). I think this is a good site for scouts all over the world to check out. All that would load on this page for me was the splash page and the title graphics on the contents page. With three attempts nothing else would load on the page. Looked very nicely designed from what I did see, which wasn't much though. Wow, it's cool to hear about scouting in Hong Kong. Those two tests do not sound like fun! Bulletin Board page looks good, to bad the files aren't english, but this is probably better forthe unit's general use. Traning notes, again look like they could be of great use to the unit, but no points for not having English editions. Nice looking page, that imagine is of much use to the members, good job. Cool! a Hong Kong scouting group! Nice splash page. The actual content of this page was well done. I think the graphics could be improved, but thats excusable. Again too bad this page was made in Front Page. I find it rather ironic that this page just flat out fails under I.E.! Oh well. All in all nice content! Wow great Splash Page the picture collage works well, I didn't take the time to download the fonts The layout was easy to navigate, Stong interesy building site Nice opening page. Easily seen update date labels on index page are good. Cub pack A & B Profile pages from ./index1.html don't work. The page interested me a lot in international boy scouting, but not much in scouting in general. Suggestions of things to add would be more on activities done by the group/pictures of these activities and fixing the links."

"It is a real pleasure to find your site. I joined 2nd HK around 1961 for almost 10 years starting from cub scout ( called little wolves at that time ) to senior scout. The base for the group was at Raimondi College until they have their own 99th Group. W e then moved to Caritas Center in Caine Road. I am not sure where are you based now. A number of the members at that time are now prominent member of the society. I am not sure whether their is a list of your previous membes. I know Brother Mario very wel l and is sad to hear that he has passed away. Max and his wife Margaret are my scout leaders and best friends. As I have gone overseas for almost 10 years, I have lost contact with them and only realised that they have also migrated from your page.
